Why should I volunteer for the marching band program?
Volunteering supports the students and ensures the success of our program. Your involvement helps with everything from performances and competitions to equipment and event logistics. Plus, it's a great way to be part of a fun and passionate community!
Do I need any special skills or experience?
Not at all! We welcome all volunteers, regardless of experience. Whether you're handy with tools, organized, or just willing to lend a hand, there’s a role for you.
What types of volunteer opportunities are available?
There’s a wide range of opportunities! You can help with:

Uniforms

Join the Roadies and be part of the prop building, handling and equipment transport

Home Tournament is an all hands on deck event! We host between 12 to 20 schools each year with thousands of attendees.

How much time do I need to commit?
The time commitment is flexible. Some volunteers help consistently throughout the year, while others assist only at specific events. Every bit of time makes a difference. If you are only available for one event, we are happy to have you!
Can I volunteer even if I don’t have a student in the band?
Absolutely! We welcome parents, grandparents, friends, alumni, and community members. Anyone passionate about supporting our band can volunteer.
How do I sign up to volunteer?
Signing up is easy! Visit the volunteer section for upcoming opportunities to get started. Look out for volunteer sign up booths at band events.
What if I can't volunteer but still want to support the program?
If volunteering isn't possible, you can still support the program through donations, by attending fundraisers and performances, or help spread the word that the Band needs support. Every bit helps us reach our goals!
Can I volunteer with friends or family?
Yes! Volunteering is even more fun with friends or family. We encourage group efforts, and it's a wonderful way to bond while helping out the band.
Are there any special requirements to volunteer?
Some roles, like chaperoning, may require additional clearances. We'll guide you through any necessary steps to ensure everything runs smoothly.
